​"Harder Targets" Self-defense and personal safety for girls 11 - 19 years old.  

On average, there are 114,000 non-family abductions per year; 100 of these children are abducted and killed.  Students will learn how to keep themselves safe in a variety of settings and how to escape from an attacker using various easy-to-recall moves.  Classes offered to groups of 5 to 20 participants; average class lasts approximately 90 - 120 minutes. "Just Yell Fire - Campus Life" Self-defense and situational awareness training for girls leaving for or already attending college. 
 
Girls leaving home for the first time are especially vulnerable - empower them with the training to stay safe when they are on their own.  Students will learn how to stay safe on campus, while out and about, at parties, and in their dorm.  A variety of techniques are taught on how to escape from an attacker using various easy-to-recall moves.  Private one-time classes are offered (approx. 120 minutes) for 5 to 20 participants.  12-week courses are also available for in-class instruction at high schools and campuses.  Based on the Just Yell Fire curriculum.  Students will receive valuable safety materials and a DVD showing the moves they learned in class. Self-defense and Personal Safety Classes: 

Classes are available for businesses, community groups, and private groups. Curriculum taught can be tailored to the specific needs of the requesting group. Seminar-style training provided for larger groups (over 30 in attendance). Contact A Harder Target  to discuss your business' or group's specific needs for safety training.  


Pricing:  $55.00 per person for each one-time class.  A minimum of 6 students/maximum of 20 per class is required.  (Pricing for larger/business groups, and school/campus classes will vary according to needs and size of group).
